Will Collonite 845 stain black trim like other nubas?

IME, when getting 845 somewhere you don't want it it wipes right off. Noticing that it left a nice shine on a hard, black plastic, pebble-grained mirror I ended up applying it to the whole surface. Wiped it off and it left a nice finish that lasted. I wouldn't be that bold with something soft or rubberized though. YMMV.

I'm pretty sure that Accumulator over at Autopia has confirmed on repeated occasions that, in his experience, 845 does not stain trim.

I wouldn't think it would. I mean, it does dry clear like Meguiar's #26 does, and M26 doesn't stain trim. I don't recall any issues with trim when I used 845.

It wont stain the trim... In fact, I make sure to hit my trim to make sure it looks great... gives the black trim a nice deep shine. A rule of thumb is if the wax has cleaners in it,it will stain... good stuff you get here like SSII, Souvern, Nattys, etc wont stain.

I don't know 845 specifically, but definitely don't mind putting some good 'nuba on my trim. :xyxthumbs:
