Ok. So every one shows off the full correction, but I would love to see some before and afters of one step corrections. What products/pad combos work the best for you, and are customers happy with the one step?

Thanks

I don't have pictures, but my one step consists of clay and Poorboy's Polish with Sealant on a polishing pad.

I really like XMT 360, it will add a nice gloss quickly. Looking to try Poorboy's Polish with Sealant. I've had my eye on Menz Power Finish, I imagine it would cut well and finish great, plus killr likes it, sooo.... :xyxthumbs:

Edit-
LOL didn't see Kronos posted Polish w/ Sealant, another :xyxthumbs:. Want to trade samples?

Sure! I've heard many good things about XMT and would really like to try it. What pad do you use for it?

+1. I use Power Finish and LC orange pads for the majority of my 1 step corrections. I do alot of 1 steppers. 99 percent of all people are ecstatic with the upwards of 80 percent correction and gloss enhancement they get from a 1 step.

D151 definitely! I use either my flex or my rotary. The pad changes depending on the car and the condition it is in. I think it is alot better than the 66, thats just my opinion.

Thanks

Now how well will they finish down on black? I have a black Pilot (DD)to do next month and just need a good one step because they live on a short section of gravel and the RIDS can stay.

Those who use D151, do you follow up with a different coat of protection, or do you use the protection that's part of D151 and call it a day?

Here is a test spot on a 1977 Lincoln Town Car that was repainted sometime in the 80's. The car has sat in the sun and under a car cover for a very long time. There was no shine to the paint at all and stains in the paint from the car cover. This was with just washing the car and applying Maguires #66 with a PC and orange pad.
