Hood had some nice pitting/water etching and swirled pretty bad, note that after washing I did not dry 100% so the light areas you see is just some water left that dried a bit or some Menz Top Inspection

Next day starting right back up, front fender..this is after Menz PowerFinish/3m UK Yellow, used 3m pad as it was better at the tighter curves on the front fender...ended up having to use some M105/Uber Yellow due to heavier marring

Little sanding, 1500 to knock down the large bits, then some 2000 to get it nice and smooth....

After finishing polishing, you can see there is still some small pitting, I thought about sanding but when looking at them under 10x and 15x loop some went deep and did not want to dive into that right now...

http://lh4.ggpht.com/_G0ZVVd-k2pM/S57jqL8l7nI/AAAAAAAAAeo/Tmq81voFV1w/s800/DSC00153.JPG
Used Megs new Ultimate Protectant on all the trim. Initial option is that this stuff is pretty good, it is a thick lotion, really makes black plastic darker but not a greasy look. Now durability is up in the air so I will see how long it last

Exhaust Tips
Tips were polished with Opt Metal Polish (Great stuff, my favorite metal polish!) and some #0000 steel wool. I cleaned them best I could but as they are not coated they get dirty fast and almost a lost cause.

Tire Dressing
Used my favorite tire dressing, ShowroomFX (was Tripi-Care) White Pearl. Only tire dressing I will use, and I have tried a lot, great look and last a long time for being water based. Pictures made it look a little glossy but is a nice matte/satin look.

Rubber Seals
All door seals got some 1z Gummi Pflege, applied it using a 1" foam brush. The tip of the Gummi I find rips easily and cant get smooth application always so I just pop them off now and put little on the brush. Find it easier this way.

Put another coat of Insignis on that night, then put her to bed. Interior detail will be this week, I hope.

THE END!
Thanks for reading, looking at the pics, I know it was long but thought if I was going to do a write up of the first time using a rotary might as will detail out everything. Sorry I didn't have more pics of the polishing and defects, I took some but could not get them to come out clear...
Feel free to comment, ask questions, or anything else!

Thanks, I liked Diablo...it is not a wheel cleaner for really dirty, burnt on brake dust but works great on mild to clean wheels...long dwell time and not that expensive. Also, cut 3:1 it is thick and really sticks to the wheels big time.
WOW!!! Very nice work:dblthumb2::dblthumb2::dblthumb2:
Thanks!
