What used to be used in carnauba wax that is no longer VOC compliant?

What kind of effects did removing VOCs from carnauba products have, if any?

If you were able to buy non-VOC compliant products vs VOC compliant products.... would you? Why?

Does anyone feel the VOC compliant products are in anyway inferior to non-VOC products?

Ive always wondered about this. For instance... Meguiars #16 seems to be a really popular non-VOC compliant product and always wondered why some people went out of their way to get that specific product VS say #26 instead.

Thanks in advance!

For the most part it's the type of solvents that were used. As far as buy a non compliant verses compliant product I guess I would say compliant simply because it's what is good for our environment. It's not really that all the good products are disappearing but what you have to remember is that many of the products that are going away had many years to be perfected. Their replacements in many cases are as good if not better using today's technology. I know that this isn't the case with every product people really don't seem to like AIO's new formula as well. I may be lucky on this one. I still have a couple of bottles of the old stuff and haven't even tried the new stuff. When I finally run out of #16 I'm sure I will miss it. I still have 1 new can and one virtually new can of it however and it does last a long time.

its like abestos in our ceilings, lead in our paint, and Voc's damaging our ozone. Change is consistent and we must adapt.
