Heres a recent detail. This is a client of mine that is extremely rough on her vehicle. Animals are transported almost daily in this vehicle and it gets pretty dirty inside and out. Unfortunately most of the outside “before” shots do not show just how dirty it was except the wheel shots. Interior shots will have to be re-shot next time.
Before: Notice the bad trim, the dirty wheels…

What products and process did you use?

Sparkie:

The before pics didnt pick up just how dirty this truck was. I spent about 2.5 hours just on the engine, wheels/tires/wheel wells and the body wash.

I started with the engine first. Let it soak with ARO then scrubbed pretty good. (I posted the engine pics/process as a separate write up in Show and Shine)
Then I sprayed off and re scrubbed a few parts. Sprayed again. Dried with towel and air compressor. Scrubbed wheels/tires/wells with ARO and a few brushes.
2 bucket method on the wash.

Clay bar
rewash/dry
Makita and 4" yellow pad/menzerna powergloss to buff out a few scratches
SIP and orange pad with UDM to polish out swirls and bring back some shine.
one pass with 85rd and grey pad
3m performance finish sealant

Tires and trim done with ultima tire and trim guard plus (EXPENSIVE but amazing product)
Another coat on tires with Opti-bond because Ultima is almost a flat sheen. Optibond is more satin/semi gloss
Diluted hyperdressing for engine bay and wheel wells
Invisible glass for windows
Vac inside.
Megs APC+ diluted 400:1 to clean leather with foam pad
303 to protect, spread thin. dont like interior gloss.

Think thats it...
I used an orange pad 4" with makita and megs plastic polish to headlights.

Thanks for the feedback...Now Megs APC+ diluted 400:1. I use Megs APC 10:1 and it works fantastic. This APC+, is it that concentrated? I'm looking at ways to save money.

Two thumbs up for powergloss, I have seen it take scratches out that nothing else would. And again super job on the pickup.
I wish I got me a red truck now..LOL...

Put it this way; there was some asphalt or some other kind of tar splattered up on one of the lower panels. You can see it in one of the before pics. I tried everything to get it off. ARO, CLAY etc nothing worked. After breaking some of it off with my nail I put 100%APC on a MF cloth and gently scrubbed...After the APC soaking in a bit it came off in chunks, then got the rest off with clay.

Leather is to be taken care with when it comes to harsh chemicals. So I cleaned it with super diluted APC and a went MF cloth. Works great!
