Does jiggling really increase D.A cut??

I saw a video where a guy had a Porter Cable, and he mentioned going over the paint in a sort of jiggling motion while also moving in a normal side to side motion to break down polish..

I'm curious if this is actually something that would work, or if he is just thinking that its working??

I have a Flex 3401 by the way, so I am more asking if it will improve "cut" on my machine..

Thanks!If you have a stubborn spot going over it with a quick back and forth motion will help. Other than that, just use slow arm movement.
