My interior color is light tan. On the passenger side, it appears the previous owner got the upper shoulder belt portion of the seatbelt shut in the door several times, leaving grease smudges all over the belt where it was closed in the jam/latch area. I've tried simple green, other misc. cleaners, goof-off, anything else I can think of and can't get these grease smudges off!!!

Anybody have a secret I can try????

Any help is much appreciated.....

What about one of those heavy duty hand cleaners like Gojo? I should try it. I've got some grease spots on the belt of my old car. I'll let you know if it works.

IIRC ,They sell a product to remove dirt/grease from seat belts. Becarfull what you use some products could break the fibers down in the seat belts renedering the belts unsafe..

I had luck with Oxy clean on some black grease spots that the body shop guy left on the carpets in my car. Kids 'n pets too might work.
