Snowing again in hotlanta.. Calling for 2-4 inches, I guess the city will shut down again.
This is so funny, I went to school with 8 inches on the ground or more:D
They even say anything about snow, they shut down the airport, supermarkets get flooded and all the milk/water/bread isle are bare.

School closing all over, even if a inch shows up on the ground

Same here (Northwest GA/Chattanooga).
I think all the schools have now closed probably and I am sure you can't find a loaf of bread or gallon of milk in the area.

Granted, people here aren't as used to snow as more northern regions, but a little common sense can go along way.

We currently have about 1/2-1" on the ground, with the roads still being relatively clear.

I can remember when I was going to the military school in West Mempis, TN. I and a group of Michigan guys got pulled over by the police for driving in an area they closed because of snow. Like others have said those of us who practice our winter driving skills yearly cannot understand everything closing down with a little dusting of snow. We relate to each inch of snow, thaws and becomes water.

Move to Fla

I would love to! I would be in Heaven, warm weather most of the time, wide variety of cars to detail, and close enough to Auto Geek to pick up supplies!

We had 48.7" of snow for the month of February alone. Normally our average snowfall total for the entire winter season is about 40" TOTAL, and we beat that in just one month!

My brother lives in Norcross. He just called me this morning to tell me it's snowing. He was so excited. All I could think of was how lucky I was to live in Orlando. He loves snow and cold weather. There are few things I hate more than cold weather and snow. Sometimes I wonder if we're really related.

Snow is gone, now it just looks wet outside. In my area, at least.
