How do you get out swirl marks in the woodgrain consule?

Funny you mention that, I just had the same problem on a customer's car yesterday. I used megs 205 with a terry applicator to polish the wood really lightly then put a little bit of megs 21 sealant over it to make it shine like crazy. Woodgrain is really easy to scratch especially when its the plastic wood like a GMC has, so polish gently and wipe off with a little 50/50 IPA. If you do not have megs products, you may want to use any kind of fine polish and just be gentle. Hope this helps.

What do you think of DP Plexall - would that work?

I like to use a AIO like PB PwS. It works great.

Start with a light polish by hand such as Menzerna po85rd and work that in. If it doesn't remove the defects, step up to Power Finish (203) by hand and work that in. I have removed swirls from wood grain interior accents with that before with great success, and it leaves a stunning finish.

Woodgrain finishs in cars these days are either real wood covered by a clear coat or simply fake wood aka plastic. Either are polishable and great results can be obtained.

Would this system also work for exterior black plastic exterior trim on a Denali? The rear corner panels between the rear window and cargo windows is a long strip of black plastic that shows scratches from washing.

It sure will, just keep in mind that you can use whatever polish you have on hand. Just make sure to try your least aggressive polish first. If that doesn't remove the defects, then step up to the next more aggressive polish.
