Okay everyone, I have placed my first order for some simple winter care until the nice weather gets here. I am also adding my wish list so let me know if I am missing anything or should change anything. I know most of it is a matter of personal preference but just looking for some input since I'm a newbie.

Ordered
DP Auto Bath Shampoo
DP Final Gloss Quick Detailer
3 Pack Cobra Gold Plush Microfiber
The Bone by Cobra
DP Interior Surface Protectant

Should I stick to the Gold Plush Microfibers or is that overkill?

Wish List
Diamondite Perfect Vision Glass Master Bundle
The Forum Favorite Kit
Klasse All-In-One, Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze, Pinnacle Souveran, Pinnacle Crystal Mist Spray Wax come together to create a forum favorite kit. (http://www.autogeek.net/forfavkit.html)
Pinnacle Vinyl & Rubber Protectant
Wolfgang Leather Care Conditioner
Porter Cable 7424XP Combo Kit
Porter Cable 7424 Car Buffer, 7424 Polisher (http://www.autogeek.net/poca74pofcop.html)
Wolfgang Tire & Wheel Cleaner
Wheel Wax
Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel (http://www.autogeek.net/piblontigel.html) or Optimum Opti-Bond Tire Gel (http://www.autogeek.net/optimum-opti-bond-tire-gel-32oz.html)

Am I missing anything essential?

Thanks everyone

Looks good to me but it helps to include what your detailing project is and what you're trying to accomplish.

Just general maintenance and such. It just had a full detail and it looks great so I don't have to do any restoration or anything like that. I have just been reading your site and the forum everyday trying to absorb as much knowledge as I can.

I would recommend two grit guards, 1 for your wash bucket and 1 for your rinse bucket..Also at least one large Cobra waffle weave guzzler micro fiber for drying.

The Grit Guard Insert - 2 Pack (http://www.autogeek.net/grit-guard-2pack.html)

The Guzzler Combo Kit (http://www.autogeek.net/guzzler-microfiber-combo.html)

Would I use the Porter Cable 7424XP for putting on and taking off the the AIO, Sealent and Wax or are some of those better off using the applicator to apply and MF to remove?

I prefer to apply and remove sealants and waxes by hand.

I would use the PC for the AIO application:buffing:, but not removal. Why? I don't know. I don't, but I don't see the harm, apply sealant or wax by PC. There's no particular reason why, just personal preference I guess. Even if I did apply the LSP by machine, I would still remove it by hand. Why? I don't know.

Hope this helps. :props:
