Does the grit gaurd fit into the Wal Mart buckets that are in the paint section?
I don't have a ruler here at the apartment, but I used a notebook (11") and I still had room to go so I'm assuming it's a 12" diameter at the lip.
Anyone tried?

They will not fit flush in the bottom of the bucket. The wedge a few inches above the bottom.

To hell with it then. I'll go with my methods. I was thinking of picking them up, but I'll just do what I've been doing.

It's an alternative to a sweater dryer (or maybe it's what day use down south for guarding da grits).:laughing::laughing:

Listen here son. Grits are the #### LOL
I will only eat cheese grits with a little bit of ham.
Untill AR mentioned a sweater dryer, I had no idea what they were. I don't own any sweaters so I've never had a need for one.
I throw my pads in front of a space heater about 1' away and flip them over every 30 minutes. Works for me.
