Any ideas for polishing the fine scratches out of my dash plaque? (It seems to be some kind of plastic or acrylic) over a gold plate. The scratches really arent as bad as they look in the picture, the camera really seemed to magnify them and some is lint.

I would use PB Pro Polish would work great for that you want to use something that is a non abrasive polish so you don't induce any more scratches or marring. PP with a flannel towel or if not with a cotton terry towel than remove with a microfiber

Nice Tad! Novus? Not sure if it's right for that or not.

Try out a tiny little spot of Menzerna 85rd and work that in. It is gentle enough to not scratch in and of itself, and will remove that light marring. If you would rather go the filler route, try working in a glaze.
