Hey guys,
Here are some pics of the Lincoln shining like crazy after NXT 2.0 followed by Natty's Red. Prepped by using M205 followed by 85rd. Anyways, I have yet to try my WF 3.0. I will post pics when it starts warming up. Just some pics of whoever is interested in seeing a beige car shine the right way!

Any questions regarding the detail.... let me know! I would love to help out!

Nice job! :dblthumb2:

What made you decide to use Natty's Red as your topper? Is that the only carnauba you have?

Thanks guys! No.... it was the only wax I had at the time. Now, I have two cans of MaxWax, Nattys Red and Blue, and 476. I am not too big on carnauba waxes.... I would rather spend more on sealants... esp. on my color car. Wish I would have captured swirls before.... but it is obviously too late...

Beautiful indeed! The car looks great! I love how the color looks, and I would argue carnauba enhances the look of this particular color nicely.

Thanks Sparkie. The car has not given me any problems whatsoever and is mchanically sound. Ford did a great job making these! I plan on keeping it until it dies.... and it is only a one year name plate.

Good point! I just don't like putting a big whole in my wallet from buying waxes... so I guess I am the "mid-grade" wax guy.

Looks great!

Generally speaking, will polymer sealants look better on light metallics compared to carnauba? If so, why?

I think NXT 2.0 enhances that color very nicely. And topping it with a 'nuba just seems to add something. This is my parents' 1990 Honda Accord LX with a coat of NXT 2.0 and a coat of M16 on it. It would probably look even better after swirl removal.

Although NXT 2.0 by itself isn't bad either, but I think the carnauba topper warms it up a bit.

NXT 2.0, no topper

I'm sure it would, although you have to admit, for a 20 year old daily driver that sits outside 24/7, it actually looks pretty darn good! This color has the potential to look really good if you're using the right product(s) on it. What product combinations (specifically waxes and sealants) do you like using on your Lincoln?
