So we received a little dusting of snow here today, okay a lot of snow, and I was trying to figure out how to clean the snow off of my car without turning to a stiff bristled brush. Then it hit me, introducing the high tech snow duster in all it's glory:

Okay okay, so it's just an old Meg's wash mitt but still! It actually worked quite well for the light, fluffy, powder like snow that we received. Just thought I would share my find.

I know what you're thinking, yes I'm a dork! But it worked!

Always good to get that message out rwright. But then there will be a whole lot less cars out there for us to repair!

Amazing results! How did we ever get by before the invention of the hi-tech snow duster?! Wait a minute, that looks like a wash mitt.....hmmmmm......

Haha!

Good idea! I'm in MA and we haven't really got any snow yet. But I'll keep this in mind when I need to remove some snow. Props!

Light, fluffy? Turn on the wipers and drive, the wind will blow it off! (Drives the wife nuts when I do that, and I think it might be illegal). Caution - Don't turn on the defroster when doing this, or you'll have snow/frost on the inside of the windshield.

Just a thought, if the car is dirty, would this be the same as running the wash mitt across the finish dry? Like the idea, just curious.

I love that Richard is calling that a "light" dusting!! Looks like enough for a good snow ball fight!

The SRT looks good. I'm sure it didn't get quite far in that "dusting". I know my Mazdaspeed would get nowhere fast in NY Winter Storms.

I am sure I marred up the paint on my truck one year after I let snow melt/freeze on the truck and then it slid off. It does not snow here often but if we are expecting something big I cover it up with a tarp over the cab.
