I was thinking about using my Griot's 3" with 105 followed by 205, or should I buy Meguiars PlastX?

FYI, not the z06's headlights.

if its not bad at all, get the kit, otherwise, its anything worse than "not bad at all" dont buy that kit. its worthless. use the 105/205 combo or get the 3M kit. if they are VERY bad, get the 3M kit.

Why need for kits? For production cars that have bad headlights... I just whip out the sand paper and put JUST the 105 to them... and done. If it is for a daily or something nicer.... I would consider taking the most least aggressive approach then going on from there

megs only comes with the polish ball thing which i dont like at all. and some plastiX. its nice to use on NEW headlights to keep em clean from the start, but not too good if oxidized or colored.

Just sand them down with 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 and buff with M105/205.

You can skip the buffing and apply clearcoat. Let it sit for at least 4 hours. Wetsand with 1500, then 2000 and buff with 105/205. That's the way I did mine.
