What would be a good final polish after WGFG on a 05 Mustang GT? The color is redfire if that make any difference.

If you have a PC, consensus points to Menzerna 85rd. Some detailers use it as their final polish to give a car the greatest possible pop and shine. Other detailers will tell you WGFG finishes down well enough for a daily driver. So what kind of polisher do you have and is your mustang a daily driver?

Does Wolfgang Finishing Glaze really have the amount of cut to warrant another polishing step? I have a sample bottle of it and used it on the hood of my car after polishing. Not sure that I noticed it having much cut but it had the consistency and working time of a finishing polish.

Finishing Glaze 3.0 is a finishing polish. If looking to jewel paint you can move to a non-abrasive pad using the same polish.

Bigdaddybama,
If choosing WGFG, you shouldn't need an additional polishing step before a LSR.

I just finished using the WG TSR 3.0 (orange pad), followed by WG FG 3.0 (white pad), and finally used the WG Sealant 3.0 on a 99 white BMW 528iT that the airport detailer messed up.

The paint looked terrific after the TSR 3.0, even slicker after the FG, and glowed after the WG Sealant 3.0. I suggest that you clay before the using the WGFG, then add the LSR.

I understand that the WG combination is terrific on Red and Black paint. Good luck!

If you want to amp up the finish after WGFG use 85rd.
