I've researched and this QD seems to be the one I'm looking for. No wax, no sealant, no polymers that I'm aware of. Just a high lubrication spray with good cleaning ability for a QD. Who's used this stuff?

No wax? no polymers? Are you sure?

In fact, I emailed Griot's and they told me that Speed Shine contains a tiny amount of carnauba. And I certainly would be surprised if Speed Shine does not contain silicone polymers. As far as I know it is not body shop safe. That being said, I've read nothing but very positive reviews about Speed Shine. I'd order a bottle myself if I didn't still have a gallon jug of FK 425 sitting in my basement.

If you need a body shop safe quick detailer, try Meguiar's Final Inspection.

Very interesting. I spoke with a griot's care care "specialist" on the phone, and he told me no wax. Not sure if he new what he was talking about. Will Final Inspection remove wax?

Actually, just called and talked to another "specialist" and hes said it does contain a bit of carnauba.

I think Final Inspection is what I'm looking for. :xyxthumbs:

its a nice quick detailer type product, they do offer a Spray Wax also. Both are easy to use.

I'm going with Meguiars Final Inspection. It's body shop safe which means no wax, no sealant, no polymers. It's a pure QD without all the bells and whistles. I don't want to spray anything on my car that will bond to the paint. That's what I have collinite 915 for. Just a personal preference. :)

I am a QDholic. I have GRiots, FK425. Megs Final Inspection. Menzerna. Top Imspection., OID, FK Poly Wipe. Dodo Juice Red Mist, Wolfgang ID. and DG Marine.

IMO Griots is very good but not in same league as FK425. FK425 is one of my top two. The other is OID.

BTW MMenzerna Top Inspection is also Body Shop Safe and is best to remove polish oils and residue for sealant prep,

Is Meguiars final inspection and Menz top inspection basically the same thing?

Griots Speed Shine is awsome and I will second Arkus' suggestion to buy a gallon.

Not really. FI is more like a good clay lube that also cleans. I THINK it works well as a step between polish and LSP. TI is touted and marketed for this purpose and does it very well IMO.

FI is much cheaper but a little TI MO.

Hope this helps.
