I did my first full detail yesterday and i think it went pretty well
the car was really rough when I got it and it still has the dents and some defects

It got to be hella late/early so I said screw the white pad and swirlX.

I knew that it didnt matter if this car was 95% defect free
the before and after is definately a BIG difference

I love Toreador Red...its definately one of Fords best colors

Things I used:
ONR pre sprayed to loosen all the dirt then ONR wash
Meg's Claybar (white) W/ONR clay lube
Eagle One A2Z Wheel and Tire
GG 6" DA with 6"CCG Orange pads and Griot 3" Orange mini pad
Meg's UC
Optimum Poli-Seal Applied W/ Griot 6" Red pad
Optimum Opti-Seal (applied to wheels also)
Stoners Invisible glass
Meg's Endurance Shine

Sorry for the not so good pics...im still learning

Wow, looks great. I think you could use a dressing for the wheel wells, but other than that great job.

Looks very good for you're first full detail. I would get some better lighting.

yeah lighting seems to be a big issue at my dads garage

its mainly bc a few of the balasts just went in his lights
once he replaces them or I get fed up enough to go out and get new ones for him im thinking the lighting will be alot better

especailly at the back of the car where one light on each side is dead lol

Just a minder...you shouldn't show your(s) or a customers Liscence plate number. Maybe I'm just too darn picky.

I haven't been on in a few days works been...LONG lol

I really like using UC it cuts well and finishes really nice
i haven't tried M105 yet but im thinking this lasts a lot longer than it i can work this stuff for a while

Toreador Red is a very warm deep color and if I would have done swirlX it wouldve been so much deeper

Im taking a break from this Monte Carlo Z34 that Im in the process of detailing right now

UC is taking out id say between 80 and 90% of the after 2 very slow passes
Im gonna try out the swirlX next

If you get time, go to my pic gallery and look at my 16 year old paint on my truck. Search under "bshywes"

Agreed, but if someone wanted you license plate # they could easily get it regardless!

LOL. Very true, but I thought it just a precautionary measure because some of my customers who have allowed me to use their car pics on my website, had requested that I not show their L. plate number. Maybe it's a privacy issue with them...I don't know. As I said: maybe I'm just too darn picky. But I'm very grateful to you for your response. Thanks!
