frame off resto in 2004 nothing done since to undercarriage.

Will be painting...not undercoating, outboard of frame rail flat black to above frame rail...customer wanted to leave the center section alone, reshot some gloss black, cleaned exhaust from leaking transmission fluid, repair fluid leak, tighten all body, suspension and bumper bolts, check all wire routing to prevent fraying, grease front end and install missing cotter pins in ball joints and tie rods

notice exhaust on pic #9...front of muffler and crossover pipe stained with burnt oil

Ive always loved seeing undercarriage details. If i didnt have a daily driver, i would be tempted to do this maybe twice a year. Great work though!!!!!! It really does make a detail truly COMPLETE 'top to bottom'

Great job on a sweet ride. Detailing an undercarriage is a PITA and usually overlooked on a lot of show cars.

alot of shows ask if they want undercarriage judged...most are not frame off's.
This car gets judged top and bottom....it's far from perfect, but totaly rust free
Thanks for the :dblthumb2:

Im going to have to take a good look at this later. I have already taken the front half of my car apart to detail everything you don't see. Now I just have to find a lift so I can do the underside like this. Great job

having a lift is awesome.....we have alot of show cars in the area and most of the owners are up there in age....you know they wont crawl under to wash no less detail

here's a few shots of the wheels after polishing with rear polished S/S covers.....had to really clean the back side of the spokes and the rim center section weld...visible from the mirror behind the wheel

Nice work on the under body! Must be nice having a lift! :props:

I'm working on a partial restoration right now and the previous owner coated everything with under coating, frame, wheel wells, rear end, and suspension. Since were not doing a frame off job I think we are just going to leave it undercoated....which will hurt the value at B-J I'm sure. :(

Having a lift in the shop is a wonderful thing. We bought a used one a few years ago, makes thing like this much easier.
