I have an old, unopened bottle of DP Final Finishing Polish. Since it's been discontinued, I can't find much info on how to use it (I bought so many different products in 2006 when I first got into detailing and this one just fell to the side).

Goal - clean paint (not remove swirls) to provide a clean surface for sealants/waxes.

I believe it's slightly abrasive -
1) does it have diminishing abrasives
2) which pad should I use (I have a LC white polishing and a grey finishing pad)

How did you use it?

Sealants I have are NXT, EX-P, Klasse twins, OCW. Plan is to use EX-P over it.

It is indeed a light polish and believe it had some very light abrasives in it. Dont remember its makeup but indeed a finishing polish only. While not a dedicated paint cleanser only (Dodo, Pinnacle, P21S) it likely would work. Shake well, very well, and use a finishing pad.

Should I even bother with the DP? I have Menzerna 85rd (bought at Xmas).

Either way, a finishing polish is going to have such little cut that it certainly cannot hurt to try it. :xyxthumbs:
