I have no m105 but still have some m205 and I have to sand and buff a car I painted tomorrow. I have access to 3m compounds right down the road from my shop. Can someone recommend me one that would clean up with the 205? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark

Get some 3M extra-cut.

THe 3M Perfect-It 3000 Extra Cut Rubbing Compound (http://www.autogeek.net/3m-extra-cut-compound.html) is a very aggressive cutting compound, 3M states it will remove #1200 grit sanding marks which means it's pretty aggressive.

M205 is a very light cleaner/polish with emphasis on the words very light.

You can alter the cut of the M205 by using a more aggressive pad. For example, if you would normally finish with M205 and a foam finishing pad you might find you'll need a foam polishing pad to remove the swirls left by the 3M compound.

Do some testing to one spot before going over the entire car.

IF the paint is still wet, then M85 with a wool pad should work fine, it can be a little on the dry side so clean your pad often and this will help with the buffing cycle and the wipe-off.

M85 is for wool pads only, (just to note).
