Hello Everyone,
This is a new and interesting project. My dad sent me a text earlier saying he, the client, wanted work done on his van. I called my dad and asked him who in the world was the client. He advised me it was his dealership. I was link, okay......... This was a 1st for ME to get PAID by the dealership to do something. (I only did a used Red Chevrolet Cobalt once for a car show to show people what I'm able to do) I started to ask what van do they have for me to do since I've never seen a company van there. Told me to see XYZ about it. I did and he advised me it was the Service Departments Customer Delivery Vehicle. I was like, okay. That makes sense now. XYZ advised me they are having new banners placed across the Taurus X. He wanted me to quote rates for removing the current banners, wash, wax and clean the interior. I advised him what I would charge and he said fine. Do it. He also told me they will be putting the new banners on the vehicle on Wednesday, so, I told him I will focus on doing the exterior only for now. He knows I can't rush into anything major, at this time, since my grandfather is back in the hospital and it's not looking good for him. All of the car dealerships down here know who my family is since my Grandparents use to own a Ford Dealership until the last day of 1988. Grandmother wanted to sell it since Ford Motor Company wanted a whole new dealership built in a different location. That means, my grandparents did not want to spend all that money to do something like that and sold their dealership for a very good price.
Anyways..... Tuesday, I will remove all of the service banners off the Taurus X. Wash and buff it. It will just be a one step deal. They just did not want their car detailing vehicle to mess around with this one. LOL
I will keep you posted on what was done. Here are the BEFORE pictures:
