Does anybody know if WG products have a cut and gloss number like the menzerna products?

This chart is probably a better comparison.

They are VERY comparable to Menz SIP and 106FA

What are you working on?
What is the condition of the finish?
What are you trying to accomplish?

The Wolfgang Swirl Remover 2.0 is able to pull light to medium swirls and scratches depending upon how hard the paint is and things like how aggressive the pad is and overall technique with the dual action polisher.

It's actually quite a capable swirl mark remover.

Corvettes are known for factory hard paint so it could be you'll need a more aggressive product and maybe pad too.

The fastest way to remove defects of course is with a rotary buffer but it can be done with DA polisher.

A simple next step would be to get some Ultimate Compound and try that with a cutting pad. I always suggest people to do a Test Spot so they can gauge if they're making positive progress easily because you can compare the section you buffed with the section you haven't buffed.

Thanks Mike I do have a Flex 603VVB and had used a white pad should I try the Purple foamed wool?
I also have an old PC for my finish work:buffing:

Definitely give the WG TSR 3.0 with the foamed wool pad.

Can't tell how bad the defects are in the paint on the Corvette but the Flex Rotary buffer has enough power to remove them you just need to dial in a good pad and product combo.

See what you can do with the TSR with the rotary and then re-polish using the FG with the DA and just do a small section, about a 16" to 20" squarish or so on the hood.

Maybe put down a tape line too and only work on one side of the tape line so you can better see if you're making progress. White paint is harder to see change on because it's so light.
