Over the Holidays I managed to knock out a couple details. I only captured a couple pics of this one which is an 08 Honda Accord Sedan in the Gunmetal color. It's a basic model on its 2nd owner. Looked to pretty well kept on the inside but daily driven and parked under a hideus tree that spews out all sorts of nastiness. Areas of sap, grime etc...Regretfully, I didn't take any interior shots. I say that because not how great it looked but a final step that I normally pass on really transformed the overall look of this otherwise bland looking cabin. Sure it has lots of buttons but the various textures on the plastics still looked pretty bland after cleaning and using a no gloss spray. Trying to finish off my OTC Black Magic anti-static protectant spray, I hit the interior with it and wow! really livened up the cabin. Anyone in a crunch needing to pick up a cheap interior protectant should try this. It's a low-medium gloss with a tolerable cherry scent. I started the interior with Meg's Quik Interior which isn't half bad either but as I said THIS particular cabin needed some more gloss to add a little richness. Some interiors are fine with a matte finish. Otherwise the interior got the normal shop vac, Folex on the mats, Stoners on glass, assorted brushes.
ok, sorry to ramble about the interior that I didn't even snap a shot of.
Customer is friend of mine and the Accord is his Mother In-Law's. This guy shows up at 8am with Sausage Biscuits for me and my whole family. Nice tip!
