What's the difference? I've been told to use flat pads for better correction.

Thanks.
I'm going with the flat pads.

Have you looked at the hydrotech pads? (just to shake it up a little bit more)...

No.
Are they better than LC flat pads? Please explain. :xyxthumbs:

I can't say if they are better or not. I just got some a month or so ago and have not gotten a chance to use them yet. They are also a flat style pad (100% contact with the paint surface). I have heard many good things about the cutting power, but I saw a thread where some people were having issues w/ them comming apart. (they look and feel awesome I can't wait to try them) Maybe someone else with experience w/ them can chime in.

I use the CCS pads and they work just fine for correction.

I would assume 105/205 are water based polishes?

LC lists 5.5" CCS pads, but the hydro-tech pads are listed as 5.5" x 1.25". What's the 1.25" all about? Are they the same?

The 1.25" is probably the thickness. I threw a tape on mine and it looked about that.

I think the LC CCS 5.5" pads are lower profile, probably closer to 1", while the hydro-tech 5.5" are thicker.

Pad Thickness of (5.5" pads): LC CCS = 7/8"...LC Hydro-Tech = 1.25"
