With a rough estimate, how hard is the clearcoar on 07 Hondas? I have a detail lined up for next week with a white 07 Honda Accord sedan. It's in pretty good shape and shouldn't need more than a medium polish.
Would I have any trouble getting any cooperation out of the clear or does Honda put a stubborn clear on them?

Honda paint is pretty damn soft and thin.

Up to 2006, Taffeta white was single stage paint. It appears that in '07 they switched to clear coat. Just a little FYI...still soft paint though!

WOW awesome. That's just what I needed man. Glad I'm not dealing with a single stage. I've only done one Honda before, but it had been completely repainted so I had to ask.

My 09 Honda is pretty soft, I don't see my self using anything more than a white pad when I polish it.

Think a white pad and some Menzerna IP would do pretty well? I got it as a gift a little while back. It's not the SIP, but it's pretty good stuff.
I also have the Pinnacle XMT #2 and #1 to work with.

Don't be cheering until the job is done. Just because it has soft clear doesn't always make the job easier. Soft clear can be a pain as it is easy to marr. Post some pic. when your done.
