Anyone want to stick their neck out and comment on what they know about the new DA polishers coming out. Not the Flex, but the units by PC, GG, Meg's.
Are some of them the same, similar, totally different machines? (Yes is not an acceptable answer.:))
Maybe even state a few pros & cons based on what you might know.

I think that PC, GG, Megs have done this due to some interesting hidden possible competitors:

RO 150 FEQ Rotex Sander - SANDERS - Festool (http://www.festoolusa.com/products/rotex-sanders/ro-150-feq-rotex-sander-571594.html)

used with some of these:

Surbuf Products :: R Series (http://www.surbuf.com/R_Series.htm)

could offer some interesting results?

Heck,

Just the other day I saw commerical for some new fangled gizmo that looked similar to a 4" circular that has so many differet type of attachments and this blasted tool can do 15,000 opm but its cutting power is safe enough not to pop a ballon? Go figure - Something about hypersonic oscillations? Shoot, even someting like this with a special attachment could be devised or will someday soon be made to safely remove micro-maring or Type II water damage on clearcoat paint with minimual use of chemicals.

Technology is truly advancing with even better gadgets as we speek.

Most or all of us who have the advanced samples signed a non-disclosure so we can't discuss them yet ! Mine came in a brown box with no labeling other then a UL lable and 110V sticker.
