Thanks for sharing these pics! I really loved this car; brought back a lot of memories I hadn't thought about for years. You did a great job getting it back in shape!:dblthumb2:

Nice car & nice work.
What kind of car cover? Moderator(?) - maybe use some different adjectives when posting to your own employer's forum.
"Notice the deep RIDS and extreme saturation of swirl marks from years of being under a shitty car cover and washing/drying with god knows what."

Nice work Matt,
Cool cars, they used to have a real strong following when they first came out...

Thanks...as for the car cover, not too sure...probably just some cheap-o Wal-Mart cover.

Not really an older car fan, but these are just cool cars. Love the body lines and the sleeper aspect (to the non-car loving community).
However, myself having never worked on a single stage paint system, I have a question. Is the orange peel usually that bad compared to most clear coat paint jobs? Or was this just a cheap repaint?
Thanks,
Konrad.

I have the same issues going on right now, I will follow some of your steps and see what I come out with.

He is a part of another forum for turbo buicks. I know he just opened a shop recently. I haven't seen his car in person but it looks great in the pictures.
