This was strictly an exterior detail this bad boy was swirled up something fierce. The car belongs to a friend who used to detail years ago but doesn't have the desire or time anymore. he now runs his own automotive repair shop but it has a wash bay and room for someone to detail...;). So maybe this was an interview of sorts. anyway on to the car

Process:

Wash: Meguiars gold class
Clay: medium clay (brand not sold by ag)
Dry: The Guzzler Waffle Wave by Cobra

Wanted to use the Solo system by Meguiars. I tried the light cutting wool pad for time sake, but ended up frustrated and going to the yellow polishing pad. I think in part because of improper cleaning , I have a spur but I should have washed the pad periodically to avoid the product build up. Chalk it up to inexperience with wool.... lesson learned.

Correction:

Flex 603 W/yellow solo polishing pad and solo cut and polish cream. also used a 3in. orange pad for the tight areas.

Finishing: PC 7424 w/white ccs polishing pad and Meguiars 205 toped with pinnacle sovereign

the car was riddled with RIDS but the swirls came out nice maybe the next time.... and according to the owner there will be a next time ill try Ultimate compound or maybe 105 and we might be able to nock those RIDS's down a bit.

Oh and by the way interview successful he's making room for me in his shop :dblthumb2:

Thanks for looking. feedback /suggestions welcome. :buffing:

Great job! Maybe next time, you can convince the owner to let you use a finishing polish and refine the paint a bit for even better results.
