Hey guys, Im looking for the softest microfiber available for cleaning the screen of my Pioneer TV. Any suggestions? It has a special film over the screen so I need something very soft

Maybe try the Diamondite Multi Purpose Screen Cleaning Kit. Comes with towels cleaner and everything on sale for $19.99. Might be better than paying $10-15 for a real plush MF, just my .02 cents.

Thats the thing. Im supposed to use distilled water ONLY on the screen, so I figured I would invest in a quality MF if I don't have to get cleaner.

you can't go wrong with these type of microfibers for scratch sensitive surfaces (what i like to use them mainly for) such as odometer gauge, stereo face, tv screens, cd's/dvd's, etc, etc.. it's also BOGO right now as well...

Not really to take business away from AG, but.......
Would you be better off to purchase your cleaning materials where you purchased your TV?
They might try to blame any problems on what you purchase elsewhere for screen care.

I use 1z Cockpit and Cobra Gold to clean my parents LED tv screen. Have had no issue with scratching or marring.

That does make sense, but the stuff they sell is overpriced junk.

Could always get Zymol HDTV cleaner and wax, Im the MAN

haha....honestly 1z cockpit is great on screens and is safe...but any good quality MF will work for what you would like to do. With the BOGO going on right now you cant beat it!

VERY true. The BOGO is great. But which one is the sotfest/most plush?

What ever mf you get, do a cd test. If it doesn't scratch you cd it won't scratch your screen.

Below are the two i think are the softest

Cobra Super Plush Deluxe 600 Microfiber Towels 3 Pack, auto detailing towels, buffing towels (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-super-plush-towels.html)

Cobra Miracle Towels, microfiber buffing towels, Miracle microfiber towel (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-miracle-towels.html)

Shamrock is nice as well, but can lint a little.

How is this?

The Cobra Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towel cleans & buffs glass to crystal clarity with the soft texture of genuine Cobra microfiber. (http://www.autogeek.net/ww1627.html)

It is a good WW towel, but have not had much experiance using a WW MF and think maybe a napped MF ("normal" MF) would be best in your case. If anyone has first hand experience using WW on screens I would like to know as well.
