Looks like a good start. You could get a 31oz. FK 425 Finish Kare 425 Extra Slick Final Body Shine (http://www.autogeek.net/finish-kare-425-detailer.html) for a dollar less than the BOGO 12oz. Pinnacle Final Finish, just a thought. Max Wax is great. I would say get clay locally later and get some Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint sealant if you can fit it in the budget. Maybe skip the clay and P21s GEPC for now, you can just do an IPA wipe down to prep. for the Wolfgang sealant. Others can chime in on those thoughts.

FK 425 is definitely the way to go. You will love the MaxWax. Clay locally is a good idea. And you just can't beat the WDGPS

Thanks for the advice, but I am confused. Why do you recommend skipping the clay and P21s? I have read on the forum from other posters that they recommend a new car should be clayed to pull out overspray, possible contaminants during transportation.

What is a IPA wipe down? I'm not up on the lingo yet :)

I don't mean to skip the clay process altogether, just to get some cheaper OTC (over the counter) clay at a local store. As for the P21s, your paint is new and hopefully clean and I don't think you'll see much difference when working by hand on Beige Metallic paint. If buying it determines whether or not you purchase a sealant, get the sealant (I suggest Wolfgang). You wanted to be protected for the winter right? :poke:

Sorry, I knew better. IPA- Isopropyl alcohol, bought at a drug store. You can dilute with water or use full strength, I usually buy the highest percentage I can find (91% I think) and dilute 1 to 1 with distilled water in a spray bottle. Spray and wipe your paint with this mixture to remove any oils, residues etc. and leave the paint clean.

Wash
Clay
IPA (maybe unnecessary)
Seal
Wait 8+ hrs
Wax
Buy that DA Polisher :dblthumb2:
