Looking for tips to clean and detail the spaces between the emblems. I got done "practice-detailing" on my tailgate this past weekend and then noticed how filthy the spaces between the letters of the emblems stood out. How do you clean between them when washing and then detailing? How to you make them look as good as the post-detail finish on the rest of the vehicle? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about ~ don't mind that this pic was before the vehicle was washed. I know debadging the vehicle would make things easier but I don't hate them enough to remove them.

I use a bores hair brush and some apc to clean the gunk out of it. To apply wax I use edge detailing sticks, or a q-tip if it is really smell area. For those small areas polishing is almost impossible so just wanna keep it clean so use the brush to get the hunk out a q-tip or cut some foam to apply a sealant that is clear so it does not turn white.

Q-Tips with some kind of mild cleaner or other detail swabs.
