Peugeot 407 (60+ pictures)

I detail cars with my Friend Adrie. It's more fun than doing a car on your own and we simpy don't get a car done in one day if we would do it by ourselves.

This Peugeot 407 was always a very good friend with the local carwash ;)
We never give any guarantees on results or if scratches can be removed or not.

After readings with a PTG we discovered only the trunk was resprayed. The thickness was about 250-300 with some spots around 1200micron.
The rest of the car was around 140-160 microns. Pretty safe for heavy polishinging if it was needed.

The paint itself wasn't that hard only the deeper swirls and scratches were quite deep so after a few tests we began polishing with the Heavy So1o Wool pad and Menzerna Intensive Polish. The finish it left was so good we only needed to refine it with a Kompressor finishing pad and Menzerna Final Finish.
2 Hits of heavy wool and Menz IP took the thinks from 144 to 132 microns.

Steps taken:

-2BM wash and Hyperwash
-Rims with Wheelbrightner and various brushes
-Calyed with Last Touch/Born Slippy + Meg's pro mild clay
-Polished with Heavy Solo wool + Menzerna Intensive Polish (rotary)
-Washed again
-Refined with finishing pad + Menzerna Final Finish
-IPA wipedown
-Glazed with Poorboy's Black Hole (D/A)
-Waxedwith Collinite 845 (D/A and hand)
-Rims with Chem Guys Wheelguard
-Tires with Wolfgang Black Diamond Tyre Gel
-Windows withPoorboy's Spray & Wipe, ECA and Dodo's Mint Merkin
-Interior with extractor, PB's Natural Look, PB's Leatherstuff and Meg's APC+

Nice work! The car came out very nice! Too bad the client didn't want to pay for the bird etching to be removed or was it simply too deep?

As you look closely you'll notice the paint is cracked so we could have removed more paint but I doubt it would be an improvement.
Also we want to leave some paint in case the car needs another detail.
