About once a year I post a detail of this car. For being almost 5 years old it looks like it just came off the showroom floor. I purchased it for my wife for Christmas in 2004. She really don't care much about cars and usually drives our Dodge Caravan more than this car.

The car has a great paint job. It's an unusual color of white called Alabaster.

Exterior:
Wash - Poorboy's SS&S with a white Schmitt
Paint - Pinnacle Liquid Souveran (No correction needed)
Windows, Glass Roof & Lights - Klasse AIO
Wheels - Duragloss 501
Tires - Wolfgang Vinyl & Rubber Protectant
Exhaust Tips - Collinite 850 Metal Wax

Interior:
Wash - Connolley Leather Cleaner
Leather - Connolly Hide Care
Applied with hands, left on overnight then buffed off with Microfiber
Plastic - 1Z Einszett Cockpit Premium
Carpet & Headliner - Spot Clean with DP Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner

Engine Bay:
Wash - Mequiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
Plastic & Rubber - 303 Aerospace Protectant

Gary typo fixed.... and I have to say out of all the waxes I have seen while working in this business I have to say hands down best on white is Pinnacle Liquid Souveran, and your work proves it! Great detail, beautiful car, love the double sun roofs.

So clean! Excellent work as always, Gary!

The car looks very elegant and "airy" in that color combination. It must be a pleasure to work on (and drive)!

I've seen your past postings of this car Gary, and it seems absolutely ageless. Super work on your part, but I wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Since your wife doesn't care much about cars and drives the minivan more often than not.......feel free to give the 'benz to me. Could use the extra sunroof for the upcoming "winter". :)

See ya. http://autopia.org/forum/images/smilies/wavey.gif

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! I do appreciate them. I must say that the car looked very good before I even detailed it.

Thanks Meghan for fixing the title typo. I definitely agree with you about Liquid Souveran on white. It's the only thing I have found that can make white paint look wet. It also goes on and off so easy it's always a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend it to anyone with a white car.

I'm surprised nobody commented on the spot of Collinite 850 I missed on the exhaust. I never noticed it until after I posted the picture.

how many miles?

The car only has 12,900 miles on the clock. Maybe one day my wife will drive it more. Between us we have 5 cars, 1 truck and 1 van so it's hard to put to many miles on any one vehicle.

very nice work, Gary! I cannot believe your wife drives a Caravan, when she has a lovely Benz!!!

The funny thing is she told me she wanted this exact model of car. I didn't go out and buy it her thinking she might like it. You would think she would drive it more.

Colin

I wish I had a Veyron but I only have a Ford Bugatti F150. ;)

It's a nice car it's just not my kind of car. Since I prefer sports cars about the only time I drive the car is when my wife and I go out with another couple.

Very nice job, the vehicle came out looking great. But 12,400 miles over 5 years, you really gotta start driving it more. :xyxthumbs:
