i detailed a newer vette today ..makita rotary w/ edge2k waffle pad ..p&s clear cut 2 compound on scratch removal .. green pad . polish w/ p&s ultracoat polish 1500 rpm green pad went real nice w/ this pad .. used to quick detailer to fix gumming of polish as i went along .. followed with same polish on the pc w/ edge 2k on green pad ..get rid of any swirls and brighten paint even more ..i love this polish .. followed w/ p&s ultracoat wax ..its a polymer sealer . produces a very bright shiny finish which looked great on this flawless paint .. i normally use a carnauba on dark cars to deepen the color / hide problem areas .. i masked the whole car to be safe and everything went real smooth today .. oh yeah i also clayed it with p&s grey clay .. i had spinal fusion 2 mos ago ..not bad for a cripple huh:xyxthumbs:

Looks good! Congrats on getting back up on your feet and being able to work! Be careful with the back these first few weeks ;)

Man that's a beautiful color! I'm sure when you pulled that outside, it sparkled like a champ.

i really didnt notice the metallic in the paint at first until we pulled it out then it looked killer ..they come with alot of orange peel though .. shocking for a car of that caliber

Very Nice! I always liked Lemans Blue. I had a spinal fusion on my neck about 5 years ago. I had to wear a neck brace for a couple of months afterwards. Not much fun.

Try the pad washer from Grit Gaurd. It stops alot of gumming up and keeps the pads clean throughout the detail. Also cleaning the pads after every section or two you do helps alot. Nice works the car looks great.
