Nice work on that 7 series.

Question: What did you have to watch out for when you detailed that engine?

Nice work, Sparkie! I could say it was 7-series just by looking at the very first picture. Yes, I'm a big BMW fan, and seriously considering new X5 (2007 and up bodystyle) for my next vehicle, which I want to be a SUV.

ARO is wonderful stuff. I use it for detailing an engine, with Stoners for dressing. Works very well.

Thanks Jimmie...You need to try #265. It make rubber and plastic last longer. It is a 5 star product IMO...It has the good silicone, not the cheap silicone you fine in some product.
Duragloss Ultimate Detail Spray (DS) #265 (http://www.autogeek.net/duuldespd2.html)
Duragloss Ultimate Detail Spray #265 is a blend of synthetic silicones in a convenient aerosol spray. It gives a wet look appearance with one easy application. Ultimate Detail Spray works great on tires (black or whitewall), bumpers, moldings, door jams, and AC vents. DS #265 is also a great lubricant that eliminates squeaks, loosens rusted bolts and keeps all rubber parts flexible. DS #265 also restores the new look to engine compartments (hoses, wires, etc.)

Awesome job Sparkie. Good to see you posting your work again.
I'm happy to be back, and thanks kind words....Im the MAN

they make a SUV. Anyway, usually that brake dust isn't that difficult to clean off. My wife's BMW wheels dun completely black in two weeks, but is so easy to clean off - just soap and water. Don't even need a wheel cleaner.
