The Hitachi is a rotary buffer. The Cyclo is a dual head random orbital buffer. The hitachi will perform defect correction through a spinning motion which generates heat. The Cyclo will perform defect correction through vibration and the spinning of it's two heads. The vibration of the cyclo allows for the heat to escape without being transferred to the paint. The Hitachi does not and therefore you must be skilled with a rotary in order to not risk burning the paint.
