I'm just wondering if it's ok to to dilute 1:1 water and quick detailer? I have the Meg's Quick Detailer and I'm sick of finishing it after 6 to 7 cars and have to spend more money. Or do you guys know any concentrated quick detailer so I can make more out of it?

Might want to pick up a gallon of Last Touch, ready to use as a spray detailer or can be used for claying at 1:1.

That Last touch comes in at $0.15 per oz. as a qd.
If you're doing a lot of cars you can buy the Optimum Instant Detailer (128 oz.) and end up at $0.13 per ounce. I guess at this point it comes down to which product you like the most.

I think Lasttouch is more economical. Most of the people over on MOL use it at 1:1 as a QD and see no huge difference between it and straight. I price match from another site that sells it for $15 so that comes to $0.12 per oz and at 1:1 thats $0.06.

Its true that it comes down to what you like. I have LT and OID both work well but there is only so much a QD can do.

Then again the only time I use a QD is as a drying aid, cleaning jams or sometime windows. It has no other uses for me.

I tried this out of curiosity on a small section. It seemes a little too slippery if there is such a thing! Then again I probably didn't dilute enough for claying.

The Optimum No Rinse is such an economical choice for this it is probably the better route to go. Also by the same company so I think you're better off using this as it is one of the manufacturer recommended uses.
