Let be honest, I don't feel like buying these 2 products. I want one.

Am I better with Pad or MF cleaner? The MF cleaner seem nice becaue it give back the
dust-attracting magnetic charge of MF towel. But does it really work?

Please help!:dblthumb2:

Get the microfiber cleaner for your towels and Dawn power disolver(cheap) for your pads. Clean your pads with the dawn. Then throw them in the washer with the towels using MF cleaner.

I use Woolite original to wash my mf towels and it works great. That XMT stuff cleans pads pretty good. Dawn would be cheaper as would woolite.

I love DP Pad Rejuvinator for pads specifically. It works extremely well and you mix as you go. It does not destroy the foam pads and allows many uses.

For MF towels I use Microrestore or the DP MF Towel Cleaner. They are designed and dedicated specifically for cleaning these towels. No need to add this or that or spray. Biggest issue with MF towels, keep them away from all other laundry.

I'm detailling once or max twice a week.Which mean that cleaning pad is less of a b*tch than some of you who detail every day. So I will go with the MF cleaner instead.

Now I need to check for some dawn..

You trow your pads in the washing machine ?

Yes! Front loaders are gentler than top loaders.

Ok, good to know.
Too bad I don't have a front loader.

On DAWN canada, there's nothing as power dislover. maybe it's only a USA product..

Since I only do like 1 or 2 detail a week, I decided to buy a 3 pack of Snappy Clean and use half of the pouch for 1 week

and then bought MF cleaner by DP 32oz for 20$ ( 1 oz equal to 1 wash. so it's a pretty good deal)

going to resurrect this thread....

I bought DP MF Cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/dp-microfiber-cleaner.html) awhile ago on BOGO, and have been using it will great results since. I have been using it for my MF and my foam applicators (http://www.autogeek.net/pinfoamwaxap1.html). Should I not be using the MF Cleaner for the foam applicators and be using DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator (http://www.autogeek.net/dp730.html) or Cobra Quik Clenz Foam & Wool Pad Cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-foam-pad-cleaner.html) instead? :dunno:

I'm asking this because I've noticed that the applicators are not exactly wax free when they come out. Also am I hurting my MF by washing them together?

You need to get the pad rejuv or use dawn power disolve on the pads. Get most, if not all, the wax off them before putting them in the washer with the towels. If there is still wax/sealant on them, it can transfer to the towels.
