Hi,

I bought Menzerna products with a PC7424XP and I would like to know if my "recipe" and technique looks good :

1- Menzerna PO91E with orange or white CCS 6.5" pads, speed 5-6.
2- Menzerna PO85U with grey CCS 6.5" pads, speed 5.
3- Meguiars Canurba wax applied by hand.

Eventually I want to buy smaller pad.
I also bought a Poorboys EX Sealant with Carnauba, but I didn't receive it yet.

So after a lot of reading, here on the forum, here the pictures of a friend's work truck ( so a lot of swirls ) :

The hood after PO91E ( only the right side is done ) :

Still the hood after PO91E :

I have few questions for you guys :
I only have 1 orange pad and after maybe half of the car, the pad was starting to make more dust and it wasn't working like it was at the begining ... is it because the pad was too dirty ?

Is there better/other products that I could use for that kind of work ( most of the time I'll do basic detailing like I did today )?

Feel free to give me tips or comments.

Thanks! :)

Simple fix for the pad part....

Foam Pad Conditioning Brush cleans and reconditions foam and wool pads on the buffer. remove excess caked wax and polish from buffing pads. (http://www.autogeek.net/padtool.html)

I use 3 pads on a vehicle. It's good to change the out, or like Mirror said, clean them w/a brush as they get caked.

minimum of 2 pads per vehicle ... in a truck that size you might use 4. Two per side per polish.

Thanks.

Nice Job if you do alot quik clean ups Megs D151 work great comes in gallon you just change you pads as you go orang to white . Same as the Solo system with a little less bit. I use the Solo Pads with or LCC pads. Meguiars Paint Reconditioning Cream D151 (http://www.autogeek.net/meguiars-paint-reconditioning-cream-d151.html). As pads caking up I use the Gritguard pads wash it's simple awesome . I use 1 pad just keep wahing it out as i go Grit Guard Universal Pad Washer,Dual action orbital pad washer, foam and wool pad washer, rotary pad washer, Cyclo pad washer, Porter Cable pad (http://www.autogeek.net/grit-guard-universal-pad-washer.html) . I have the Grit Guard Pad Washer, its a pain to clean using the DA, so I take the pads off and put them on my rotary to wash them.
