Im looking at two different products here and am wondering if they are the same thing. One is the wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant 3.0 and the other is meguiars mirro glaze #3

Are they both the same thing? As in youd use one or the other for the same step?

Mirror Glaze #3 is a glaze, which brightens paintwork and hides light swirls and scratches. Glazes traditionally offer no real paint protection, so you would apply a coat of the Mirror Glaze #3 and then top it with Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant (DGPS).

Wolfgang DGPS is a long-lasting non-cleaning paint sealant which offers true paint protection. You can apply it on top of the Mirror Glaze or use it al by itself.

Is a black finishing pad ok to apply Mirror Glaze #3? Or should it be applied with a white polishing pad?

I use a black finishing pad to apply glaze and sealants.
Spreads much better and evenly IMO

Not all glazes can be topped with sealants

Let us know how it turns out

No, they are not the same thing/(type of product).
No, they cannot be used for the same step.
