ThanksYou need to go onto Broward county's web site and look up code and zoning for Mobile Business .I trust certain peoples opinions on here when it comes to detailing but you should look into this yourself to avoid any tickets or getting pulled over by all the local Police or even DOT for a water tank on a trailer they love to bust balls

I agree, input in nice but you are talking legal terms here so make sure you cover you butt! Go to the county business department they will help you out.

Also check out Sunbiz.org. This is the website for the Florida Department of State Division of Corporations and you can learn a lot here about starting a new business in the state of Florida.

When I start my auto detailing business, I found The Hartford to be one of the better insurance companies that understood the insurance needs of a mobile auto detailer. In addition to general liability you should also get garage keepers insurance and insurance for your tools and detailing trailer. Here is a link to The Hartford. You may also be able to find a local agent, that is what I did. The Hartford Business Insurance (http://www.thehartford.com/servlet/Satellite?c=Page&cid=1150850367009&pagename=HIG%2FPage%2FLandingPage2) (I encourage professionals to chime in if there are better options these days. It's been 10 years since I started my detailing business)

Make sure to take a look at our Pro Detailer Start-Up Kits (http://www.autogeek.net/start-detail-business.html) for an easy, all in one solution to get all of the detailing products that you need to get started.
