Gang,

Here's our '05 Dodge Neon.

It needed some serious help, been neglecting her far too long.

Process:
Wash(GC wash)
Clay(Meguiar's Clay kit-Last Touch for lube)
M95/M105/M205(8207-8007 pads)
M66(9207) - Never tried it, wanted that last bit of shine.....
Do Do Juice Banana Armour
Hot Rims Multi Piece(wheels)
Eagle1 (tires)
Daytona Brush to scrub wheels.
M40-Tires

Some befores.....Yikes

Sprinklers and hard water are not nice!

It rained the day before, hence my limited time this day! I was not happy! Although, we did need the rain, that's for sure.

Brushing my teeth with the new Daytona Brush! (For you Rasky if you see this!)

That Eagle 1 all wheel/tire cleaner works like a charm! Melts old dressings off with ease!

That Daytona Brush is tough as nails, very flexible too!

After a good rinsing! I love to watch beads!

Parking car in shade.....

I was getting strapped for time as I started late in the day. This is after a pass of M95 (didn't like the results), 2 passes of M105 and one pass of M205. It was pretty swirled up before. I like it!

Reflection of the roof, it looks way better!

The sun kept moving as I was working in the shade.....The surface got hot! Too hot for my products, so off I went to move the car.

After I did my thing with M105/M205, it was getting late, I wanted to try my Do Do Juice Banana Armour wax! I find it similar to M26 paste.....Smells good and easy to spread and easy to come off!

It looks thick, but really it's not, I barely put a dent in the Do Do Juice sampler!

After wax removal:

Some shots, not as much in the sun and the paint was not 100% flawless but around 85% or so. I was strapped on time and did not spend the time I wanted on it as the next early morning we were heading to Reno! It looks great in the sun though but now it's covered in bugs and needs a gentle wash! It's got 70,000+ miles on the clock and looks better than new:D

The Do Do Juice Banana Armour is a nice wax to work with. It applies easy and removes easy. I did streak it in a couple of places on the hood to which Meguiar's QD removed in a pinch. Would I buy it to use all the time? Not sure. It sure looks great and works great but I have so many waxes that I would have to either hide them or use them up to give that one a try. I'm glad I tried it, I will use up my sampler then report back for sure! It's a lot like M26 but, I just used it and can't comment on longevity for looks or durability. I'm a pretty hard core Meguiar's user but want to spread my wings.

The Daytona wheel brush was a great investment for me. It works really well, super flexible. At first I didn't like how flexible it was. I came to appreciate how flexible it is with scrubbing prized wheels and how gentle it is, yet strong enough to clean! The instructions are spot on, hot water and hang dry and the bristles spring back!

Thanks for looking

Great job.

Thanks! It gets a lot of work as our Yukon doesn't need much work once a process is dialed in.

Nice work :props:

Thanks a lot Birdhunter!

Nice job! and nice multi meter

Thanks, that multimeter although not real heavy duty, but it serves it's purpose well with electronics and such. I used to work in the consumer electronics repair business with my Step dad and my Mom. We used to fix t.v.'s (primary), stereo's, install stereo's, CB's etc etc.

Awesome job! I cracked up at the 'brushing your teeth with the Daytona brush' photo.

Try washing with the Dodo Juice Sour Power....it's a fantastic car wash soap.

I don't like self bumping......

However, Meghan asked me how I liked Do Do Juice waxes.....

These are after washing the Neon as my wifey went to Hanford for training. I gave it a good wash and for some odd reason I got distracted and didn't dry it too well. Never fear though, the water ran right off during flood rinsing and only had a few spots......I saw that our sprinkler was not working right and the engineer in me thought I could re-bend the fins and make it water better....It worked sorta better...

Anyways, here's the pix! The water beaded very nicely and ran right off of the car and I used some Last Touch full strength to rid the car of water spots. That's it.

This spot was on the hood, this car swirls by looking at it and after a wash, I used the sun as my cruel master to see if anything happened. To my satisfaction it looked fine :D

This car is really orange! Sorry bout the 3 little dimples, someone backed into the car when it was about 4 months old and just never had it fixed.

I'm a huge fan of M26, M16, NXT 2.0 and Do Do Juice is a really nice wax, kinda pricey for me but it sure holds up nice.

The water beaded right up and ran off of the car, it was just too slippery to hold onto the beads. The bugs washed right off with a good soaking with water and using GC car wash. No heavy scrubbing. The dirt just wiped off with ease. It sure leaves a slick surface. I was resting my hand on a quarter panel and I slipped off and almost ended up in a heap and bending my hat all up! I usually hit the cars with Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax and I didn't with Do Do Juice Banana Armour.....

This week while the wifey is gone, I'm gonna hit our Yukon and put some Do Do Juice on it.

There are many waxes I would like to try but my wax department is full and I need to use some up before getting more, but I'm exploring my options for the future.

Mike if you see this, you must be having a gas using all the good stuff AG sells. I like Meguiar's but I'm really open to options...... My next products to try are the Pinnacle.....

People always marvel to my wife how well this car looks all the time and it's an '05 with 70,000+ miles on the clock and looks better than new. Not every swirl or RIDS is out, but they are to my satisfaction. The clear coat is super hard and hard to bust them out. I also have little paint chips in the front end from rocks and what not. Seems the clear coat is brittle and got little tiny dimples all over it. Not much I can but repaint, but hey! It's a Neon and a daily driver, kid runner to Volleyball, store, school, for the teenage boy for school when he's out of gas etc etc.

So, would I recommend Do Do Juice brand waxes? You bet.

Thanks for looking again

Aaron

Very cool Nappers, I usually just finish things off with two coats of M21 or M20.

Glad to see your liking the Dodo Juice Waxes. I was also thinking about giving the Pinnacle line a try.

I see a truck in the background, do you shine that up to?

It's a work in progress, expect a write up hopefully before weather turns bad. High School, skating, teenager would rather be out than home.....Ahhhh the good ol' days! LOL.

It's a '67 Dodge D100 severely oxidized, been working on it with M80 and just not done yet. Putting money so it runs good and stops good as of now :xyxthumbs:
