Hey Everyone,

I'm not sure if this has been asked or not (I'm SURE it has), what polish would you use after you washed and clayed a vehicle? This is for those people who only want their vehicle to shine. Nothing more. I have a few things that I USE but, I wanted to see what YOU USE on something like this. :props:

Feed back please

Dodo Lime prime, 85RD, or 87MC. I used Lime prime last time, it worked and looked pretty good. As i said before, my car is always clean and garage kept.

I used Menzerna PO106FA followed by Menzerna PO85RD for polishing. Then I used ClearKote's Red Moose Glaze and topped it with Souveran 100% carnauba paste. I particularly wanted combinations that worked on red, and these did well. It's a lot more than one step, but that's what I used.

Well, being down here next door to Mexico, Carnauba waxes are very hard to deal with. I use a great amount of Menzerna, Four Star and used the Meguiars Mirror Glaze 205 once. That one vehicle happened to be WHITE and the 205 is WHITE as well, so, I will not use the 205 on white vehicles.

One Friday, I have a Lexus RX 350 to do a once stage on. It happens to be a light tan color. Might use the Menzerna on it or the Meguiars. Next week, I have another Lexus, LS 430, that is white that will also need a one step detail. I might have to use the Menzerna Finishing Glaze as well since I think the Menzerna goes a lil deeper than the Four Star. I guess Friday thru the following Friday is going to be all Lexus. Weird how that happens with me. LOL

My $.02

I thought your not looking to really correct, just shine? Dodo lime prime has a very mild cut, kinda like 87MC and 85RD. M205 is a step above those three I stated, and has more cut.

Well, correct BUT with a shine. lol I guess I will use the M205 tomorrow on the SUV. The SUV is fine except it's covered in BUGs from going thru the King Ranch. The white LS 430 also has bugs on its front end from going thru the King Ranch as well. Darm King Ranch and BUGs.

As for the Dodo stuff, I'm trying not to add more items to my list of detailing things. Like I mentioned, I have the PO106FA, PO115C, Four Star UPP or the MG205 I can use on the tan Lexus RX350. The MG205 will NOT be used on the LS 430 due to white.

XMT360 or Optimum Poly-Seal

I do not have either of those. I just remembered that I have the Duragloss 105. How will that work?

I've use 106FA on a soft green pad with great results.

I do not have any green pads. I have all the other colors. Gray, Blue or Red? I think the Red, for sure, and Blue might be too soft. Might have to use some Grays.

Those soft green are my pad of choice needed for a one step. It's a lot softer than the white, but just a little firmer than the grey. I've used it with PF 203 and 106FA.

Where did you get the green pads at?

AG has them
CCS 6.5 inch foam pads, Lake country ccs foam pads, porter cable pads, ccs polishing pads, ccs pads, lake country ccs pads (http://autogeek.net/lc-ccs-6inch-pads.html)
Not the coarse green, soft green inbetween white and grey. With the sale this week a 6 pack will cost you $41.65($6.94 a pad). Not a bad deal.

I would go with what you already have. 205 on a white pad or light cutting will produce results for sure. Use the KB method and you will be happy.
