I just did my gf Maxima and i wasn't very satisfied with the work I did.Normally, I use an orange pad with SSR2 and it take out around 85% of swirls.

Now, I think I only did like 60%. Is there something with the clear coat of High-end Nissan?

Thank:props:

I always found Nissan paint to be quite easy to correct and relatively soft. Mine scared so easily on any highway miles too. Did you use buffer on full speed and some pressure ???

I did it the same ways as I always do. 2x speed 2 ,3x speed 3 sometimes 2x speed 4. and finish it at 2x speed 2. Orange pad SSR2

I think it depends on the year. Some Nissans (newer) have harder clears, and will require Menzerna Nano polishes (SIP, PO106FF) to correct. Newest (self curing, or so it's called) it a pain in a butt to work with, I think it is used on Infiniti. You will need Gloss It polishes with DA to correct it.

Makita 9277c, the thing is, I did an ALTIMA 2001 3 weeks ago and result were great. Actually, this is the first car I do, I'm not really satisfied with my work.
