I havent been posting for a while, lifes been a bit hectic recently so my detailing was put on hold.

Convinced by the awesome results I got with Poorboys Black Hole glaze on my car, I wanted to see how it would look on my moms Cyprus Green pearl paint. I had to polish the car anyway since my parents took a road trip down to South Carolina and stopped to get gas on the way back. The gas didnt stop flowing when the car was full and subsequently sprayed like a fountain all over the car. They then brought it to a car wash and the rest was history.

On to the detailing... It allowed the flake to pop, and for the first time the car really had a more intense pearlescent effect. It also slightly darkened the color, while making the car so wet and glossy!

Products and Procedure:

-Polish with a PC, CCS white pad, and Menzerna power finish
-Washed with Megs Gold Class
-Tires cleaned with Amazing Roll-off
-PB's Black Hole
-Wolfgang DGPS
-Gl0ss It Gloss Enhancer

Some of the pictures are fuzzy, all these pictures were taken on my phone.

I am glad I ordered some of this blackhole glaze. It appears to be quite the defect hider. I'm kind of wishing I would have went with the 32oz but oh well. How much BHG did you use?

Its great stuff, I got the 32oz bottle since I have a black Saab 900 that I like to pamper... Probably too often. I barely used any, alittle goes a long way plus it doesnt need to be thick.

I dont use it to hide defects, but to enhance the depth, gloss, and wetness of the paint. This cars paint was basically 95% defect free to start with, but I will try it out on a customers car one of these days to test out its filling ability.

Thanks! Every time I do something to the paint of this car, it just looks incredible. Plus, the color really grew on me.

Didn't you put this on a black excursion that covered with swirls and it really hid them? Or was that someone else?

Thats not me, but I remember the thread you are talking about. I have yet to test the masking abilities, but when I do I will mention it.
