I know AG sells carpet & upholstery brushes for the PC 7424 and i was wondering if anyone makes anything similar for the Flex 3401?
I'm assuming that the brushes that are available for the PC unit are not compatible with the Flex...

I have not seen them in my travels either ... heck other than the Flex adapter still havent seen many upgrades to Flex specifically.

That is why I didn't sell my PC. I've used it on the interior of two vehicles so far. I might have to use it tomorrow on the Land Rover Discovery.

Found my own answer. I looked at a backing plate for the Flex. That is unusual looking critter to say the least. I understand the forced rotation now. That trait would make second think the Flex if I was going to buy a DA polisher. I have the PC. Tried and true and the only drawback I can see is the pad stops if you put to much pressure on it.

sigh... that's a shame that's there is nothing available as carpet brushes for the Flex. i LOVE how well my Flex 3401 works on the paint and it would be nice to have use of it and it's power to help clean the carpets and mats also.

If you have a hook and loop backing plate, then you can buy one for it.

A comp. sells them, so I can't link, but I don't think it is taboo to say who?

They have them over at Chemical Guys website. Search for "brush" and you will see them. 2 different sizes.

If you get them, let us all know how you like them. They are on my list, just haven't bought them yet.

hmmmm, i'll look into these but i'm not so sure how well they will actually stay on the backing plate with the additional friction of running them over carpet. hook & lop backing plates are fine with foam pads with polish, wax, etc on smooth paint but against carpet i question how secure they would stay on.

thanks for making me aware of them though and it's still worth me looking into them and finding out :xyxthumbs:

That's the only reason I haven't made it more of an effort to pick them up. That and there are brushes that will fit the PC (as posted above) which I have.

The only thing about the PC brushes is you have to swap it at the spindle which takes more time than the pull off/slap on convenience of the H&L.

Let us know if you try them. :)

I have the short nap brush for my d/a. Used it on many vehicles without a problem. Does a great job.

the kind that attached via hook & loop or the PC type that replaces and attaches via the spindle?
