I have had my carpet extractor for a while and love it. I have tried using it on cloth seats a few times but it just keeps pulling and pulling and pulling dirt from the padding and never comes clean. Is this just a bad idea? Another thing is what does everyone use to shampoo carpet before extracting. I use folex and purple power for stains but sometimes the extractor just keeps pulling from underneath. I think I need to change my carpet cleaning routine. Any comments or strategies are welcome. Thanks in advance!!!

Well we have been looking for an extractor and now have one on order......but the thing the guy was telling me is that you do not want to saturate deeper than the carpet or the seat.......just hold your tool away form the seat so it kind of mists the surface because you dont want it to go to the pad that should be staying dry so give that a try idk what we wil be using with it yet....they are going to send use some stuff to use though
