I'm going to be working on the wife's daily driver (silver Mazda Tribute). The paint is actually in pretty good shape but I do want to proceed with a polishing step prior to my LSP (Collinite 845).

So basically, I need a light polish recommendation. I do have a PC which I'll be using with as polishing pad.

I was thinking of maybe either PB's Polish or PB's SSR-1. I've used some PB's stuff in the past (not their polishes) and I've been pretty happy with what I've used.

Thanks!

They make good polishes. Very user-friendly, can work well in the sun, and they do what they're supposed to do. SSR1 is light abrasive and is good for real correction work to make the paint LSP ready.

Poorboy's Pro Polish contains no abrasives and can do some correction work with a white pad and finish LSP-ready if you don't want any real cut.

PB SSR1 will work nicely for you, if that is what you have. Also, looking to Wolfgang Finishing Glaze. Works nicely for me also!
