View Full Version : Dilute P21S Gel?

Hey,

I was wondering if the stuff can be diluted with water 1:1 (or greater) and still be used as normal, where it can sit for up to 2 hours...or will it just dry up on me before that time?

Or can the product not be diluted at all? It's just too expensive each time I use it and I use it only occasionally when I want the gel to do most of the work for me.

Thanks,
Emile

Bump. Can anyone please chime in? I read the back of my 5-liter jug of P21S Gel and it said nothing about being able to dilute it.

I think the gel would not really be gel anymore, if you add water. Maybe the regular spray(non gel).

Emile,

If the P21S Gel is too expensive, try the S100 Wheel Gel. It's the same stuff, and a lot cheaper. I picked up from a local Harley dealer for around $9 -$10.

Emile,

If the P21S Gel is too expensive, try the S100 Wheel Gel. It's the same stuff, and a lot cheaper. I picked up from a local Harley dealer for around $9 -$10.
AG sells this under the motorcycle products for $11. Is it the same thing as the P21 gel?

Yeah I know, and only around $50 for 5L but there's no evidence that the S100 Gel and the P21S Gel are the same.

Same thing with P21S TAW vs S100 TCC, S100 Wax vs P21S Wax, etc.

I have e-mailed P21S about the P21S TAW vs S100 TCC and they said that they are similar formulas but the P21S TAW has a stronger/different detergent. Since S100 TCC is meant for frequent use as a motorcycle wash product, it is not as effective on vehicles as the more concentrated P21S TAW.

I have used both the P21S and S100 Wheel Gel as well as the paste wax. I cannot see any difference at all. Looks the same, smells the same, and I ge the same great results!

Thanks for the post.

With S100 Gel, you can leave it to stand for up to 2 hours? Does it have the same instructions and everything?

As a matter of fact it does. It states "for extremely solied wheels, let stand for up to two hrs."

I hope this helps. I really love the stuff.

Son of a #####, thank you. I ordered 2 500ml spray bottles of the stuff last night. If it really is the same stuff I'm just going to get the S100 from now on.

Oh yeah, and somebody is going down for this. I'm not sure yet who it is, but somebody needs to pay. P21S Gel is literally twice the price of the S100 Gel.

Oh my mistake. I was looking at the price for S100 Total Cycle Cleaner 5L canister.

I Just e-mailed P21S and they said that the S100 Wheel Cleaner is the same as the P21S Gel Wheel Cleaner, but the S100 product is only available in a 500ml spray bottle size. I think I'm just going to use P21S Gel on tire sidewalls and rims...using it on the wheel barrels is really what uses too much product.
